Years ago I used to call on a paper mill here in Dayton.  I always liked driving in the back gate and getting to say hi to everyone as I made my way to the maintenance department.  These guys were always working on seemingly impossible problems. 

One year I finally talked them into letting me coat one of their trash pumps.  I thought this was the big time and we could really help them prolong the life of their equipment.  They agreed and we commenced in applying Belzona 1311 (Ceramic R-Metal) to the areas that needed rebuilding and top-coated with Belzona 1321 (Ceramic S-Metal). This solution worked great for that pump so then they started coating all the pumps in that plant.  It took a few years but I think we got most of them. 

That facility was shuddered and dismantled about five years ago.  As I drive by I always smile as I go by the back gate, remembering the great people and the great times.
